The game, similar to *Pokémon Go*, encourages players to explore their neighborhoods, discover new Space Invaders, earn points by defeating them, and compete on localized leaderboards. Players can also share their achievements on social media using an AR selfie that makes it appear as though they are piloting the virtual spaceship used in battles.
